Simply tear open the external plastic packaging. Shake the heat pack a
few seconds and the oxygen in the air starts the heating process.
All "Heat Source" packs contain a mixture of natural environmentally
safe ingredients that react with air to produce heat. This is accomplished
through an extremely fast oxygenation process that last up to 60+ hours
depending on the specific heat pack purchased.
Can I reuse or reheat the heat pack?
No, once the heat pack oxygenation process is complete, dispose of the
heat pack normally. PLEASE "DO NOT" place the heat pack in a microwave
oven or stove as one of the active ingredients is iron powder.
Are Heat Packs toxic?
'The Heat Source' packs are completely nontoxic, clean, and safe. They
are noncombustible to fluids, fumes, nor produce flames. The contents are
100% biodegradable.
There are no special disposal procedures, just dispose of the heat pack
in your everyday garbage.
